A man is arrested, charged after lying about a hit and run in Warner Robins

They say it happened after midnight on Russell Parkway and Booth Road.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man was arrested and charged on Tuesday for lying about a hit and run, according to a press release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

They say it happened after midnight on Russell Parkway and Booth Road.

Officers responded to a call from a man who was hit by a car and the driver had left the scene. The release says debris was left behind from the accident.

The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Later, officers got a call from Tamarious Head who said his car had been hit at a different location by another car.

The release says the debris left behind from the first accident matched Head’s car. He is now being charged with making a false report, serious injury by vehicle and duty to report an accident.
