WASHINGTON — Another iconic TV home has hit the market.
The San Francisco home used for exterior shots of the 90s sitcom “Full House” is up for sale with an asking price of $6.5 million.
While the Victorian home served as the face of the Tanner home for the show’s eight seasons and Netflix reboot, the interior scenes were shot on a soundstage in Burbank, California. The 3,700-square foot home, originally built in 1883 by architect Charles Lewis Hinkel, was recently remodeled in 2019.
According to Zillow and Coldwell Banker Realty listings, the house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Along with several luxurious living spaces, the San Francisco home has a gym area, a fireplace and a two-car garage.
The historic Victorian home, located at 1709 Broderick Street, even has a piece of TV nostalgia to appeal to potential buyers.
Future homeowners of the TV home can “secure” concrete stones with cast members’ handprints and signatures along with the real estate purchase. They include signatures from stars like John Stamos and the late Bob Saget.
“They represent epic memories of America’s favorite family that we welcomed into our homes, on a weekly basis on our televisions for decades,” listing agent Rachel Swann said told Architectural Digest.
It’s the second time in recent years that the “Full House” home has entered the real estate market. In November 2020, the house sold for $5.4 million after being on sale for more than a year.
The historic San Francisco home was previously owned by the show creator Jeff Franklin.
“Full House” aired on ABC from 1987 through 1995. It centered around a widowed father, played by Saget, navigating how to raise his three daughters alongside his two best friends. A reboot of the show, which also featured the iconic Victorian home, aired on Netflix for five seasons from 2016 to 2020.
