Roswell man arrested for girlfriend’s murder, police say
Authorities responded to the Champions Green Apartments along Champions Green Parkway Friday morning.
ROSWELL, Ga. — A 32-year-old man was arrested for the death of his 27-year-old girlfriend, according to Roswell Police Department on Saturday morning.
On Friday, July 26, shortly before 8:30 a.m., Roswell 911 received a call from someone stating that their family member, later identified as Andreily Acacio Rodriguez. was dead inside an apartment on Belmont Drive in the Champions Green Apartments.
Responding officers arrived and found Rodriguez inside the apartment with visible injuries consistent with a homicide.
Investigators quickly identified Acacio Rodriguez’s boyfriend, Juan Inga Bruno, 32, as a suspect and initiated a search for him. Shortly before 10 a.m. that same day, officers found Inga Bruno and took him into custody during a traffic stop without incident.
Investigators said that this was a domestic-related crime, and there are no additional outstanding suspects. Inga Bruno has been charged with malice, murder, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. He has been taken to the Fulton County Jail.
