Pike County High School senior dead after car crash, sheriff’s office says
A Facebook post from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 11:45 p.m.
In a post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office said it happened on Highway 109 around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday.
“We are deeply saddened to report that a 17 year old Pike County high school senior died as a result of the incident,” the Facebook post said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time.”
The post from the sheriff’s office did not identify the victim.
