Traffic delays expected after an accident involving a crossing guard at a Monroe County elementary school

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia — An accident involving a crossing guard in front of T G Scott Elementary School and The Fox Den is causing traffic delays, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. 

The release from the sheriff’s office says people can expect traffic delays in the area until further notice. 

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office did not say what happened in the accident or if the crossing guard was injured.
