Democratic vice president nominee Tim Walz to speak in Macon
Walz will first stop in Macon , then travel to Atlanta and Asheville, North Carolina
On Saturday, his team announced in a release that he’ll be traveling to Macon to speak at a political event on Tuesday.
He’ll arrive at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport around 10 p.m. on Monday and will speak around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The campaign has not released details of the event.
After his visit, he’ll travel to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta and will appear at other events in the state capital.
Walz will complete his buswy Tuesday flying out to Asheville, North Carolina and will speak at a Kamala Harris-Walz campaign rally.
This is Walz’s first solo trip across the Peach State since he was named the Democrats’ vice president nominee. He recently visited with vice president Harris and traveled across Georgia’s southern counties and cities.
