S&S Cafeteria in Macon catches on fire overnight, fire chief says

Edwards said the restaurant on 2626 Riverside Drive was first on fire around 12 a.m. Sunday. 

He said the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen. He added that it appeared to be an accident and they don’t suspect arson.

Edwards said Macon-Bibb firefighters quickly arrived and got the fire under control. 

Fire crews left around 2:00 a.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported. 

The fire is still under investigation. 13WMAZ will update this story as more information becomes available.
